To the right I could see a church, I took a step in that direction first But to the left there was a watering hole Where they were whiskey drunk And now that's where I wanna
[/u] be.[/right] Beau's hands managed somehow to release his grip tightly on the Escalade's steering wheel. One of his newest toys, it would no doubt be forgotten in less than a few months. He didn't exactly know what attracted him to it- the white-diamond tricoat, maybe the cream brulee leather interior, or the twenty-two inch chrome aluminum wheels. Beau'd have to get those replaced; they looked much too dingy for his liking. Hell, maybe he'd get the whole vehicle changed. Maybe he'd even buy a newer one! Well, Beau would have to wait perhaps a week to get used to the luxury car. After all, he'd only driven it once. Stepping from the Cadillac, Beau shut the door with an affirmative snap. The ethereal color nearly blinded him as he got out from the SUV, its white coat reflecting the sun that managed to shine through the dark tint of his shades. He turned to face the Buckstars, fighting the urge to lick his lips. He missed the strong taste of the German caffeine, and the chocolate. Maybe Americans had decent coffee? Who knew. Stuffing the Cadillac’s keys into the pockets of his expensive, brand-name jeans, he wandered into the shop and quickly lined up. He was baffled at the menu. Of course, from the few months of English translation and studies, he’d only seen the words a few times. The words seemed far too advanced for him, but somehow he made out. Paying with a fifty, which seemed to accumulate in great amounts in his ego-sized wallet, he took his cup and refused change. He sat in the parlor-like seats, snagging a newspaper from an empty booth in the process. Plopping down, he opened the paper tenderly, blowing on his fingers that had been temporarily burned by the heat of his cup. Sipping the coffee, Beau quickly set the ceramic mug down, shaking his head and lifting his lip in disgust. He wrinkled his nose at the taste, but he didn’t refuse. He hadn’t had caffeine in so long. [[Hi..]]
- It was early, and she hadn't slept in days. who needs sleep? honestly? she did. she was cranky right now. she needed caffeine, and she was running low on money, something about this planet, no one really seems to hire her much. But this town, she new, they congregate here. she had just arrived, she should get a call soon..
- She walked into the coffee shop, she was into walking, kept the legs fit. on a bad day she would walk from one end of town to the other, and back. She spoke the language well. or so she thought. the language was pretty simple. not very hard at all, this language was one of the root languages she learned at camp. she didn't know it was still used. She handed the clerk a couple of dollars, ordering a large late'. And flashed him a quick smile, while turning around to scan for a seat. she turned around and picked up the coffee, and sipped it, her heart melted, the one good thing these humans have made...Coffee
- She walked over to a man, he sat reading a newspaper, she couldn't tell if he was human or not. he looked it, But then again, who doesn't wear their human form? she looked down at herself. I'm in mine. and i certainly don't like it. she shuddered thinking about the hideous form she was trapped in.
She sat down next to him. "hello"She started looking at him, her large brown eyes reflecting the dim lights of the shop."whatcha readin'?"
[[Im God..]]

Beau couldn’t help but shudder inwardly at the harsh taste of the coffee. It tasted watered down, and as though someone had went to the bathroom in it. He pushed it away, nose upturned and turned to his newspaper. The small bell above the door jingled and naturally Beau looked up. A girl, fit to Beau’s eye, entered, and quickly lined up for her beverage. Dark ochre eyes went back to the fine print on the newspaper, in an attempt to read. So far, he could make out the simple words, such as ‘the, and, or’ and the occasional transition word. He only took classes to speak English- not read! He frowned, flipping a page and eyeing the pictures. They all had captions under them, meant to be funny, but he ignored them. How could it be funny if Beau didn’t know what it said?
A voice broke the silence. He looked up, eyebrow raising in a near-perfect arc over his dark, lightly makeupped eye. Spotting the girl whom he’d observed earlier, he gave a small twitch to his cheek. Was it normal for the girls in the city to simply saunter up to a man, and ask him what he was reading, or just speak to him off the bat? If so, he was ready to take on the women! The girl was cute, he figured in the slightest of ways, and shrugged. “I can not read Englisch.” He said simply, folding the paper up. His accent, thick and lacy, was surely impossible to understand. If only she was fluent in German, he’d easily start up a conversation with her. [/size]

[[Ever wondered whats out there?]]
- oh?hmm he speaks German, he could not possibly be from out of the planet. she observed, or what sounded like to her a heavy accent, German? possibly, she wasn't sure. she racked her brain for German, once she arrives, at new places, she likes to learn the main root language, and the variations, but this planet had so many, it was very surprising.
- Hallo, wie geht es Ihnen?[[Hello, how are you?]]She asked as politely as she could, she assumed her accent was off. one of her many gifts, language. comes in handy you know. She took a seat on the stool next to him, leaning over the counter her large bosom spilling out of her shirt.
- Je hat sich gefragt was aus dort?[[ever wondered whats out there?]] she asked, getting very close to the glass and peering up, and gazing back down at him, a silly grin across her face.

Beau’s eyebrow rose tentatively as she observed him. Did he have something on his face? Oh, that was just handsome, he noted. Nothing on his face but pure sexiness- it was always that way with Beau. It was his face that had gotten him a few deals with several modeling companies. It was his face that had gotten him so many phone numbers and girls drooling at his feet. His eyebrow fell, in a dark line over his eye. She spoke German? He smirked, it was about time he could converse with someone without making a total fool out of himself. English obviously wasn’t his thing. Neither was American Coffee.
He opened his pale lips to speak, which had still been taut in a smirk. “Gut, ich danke Ihnen. Sie sprechen Deutsch? Es ist ein bisschen schwer zu verstehen, einige Worte, aber Sie sprechen es gut.” He turned to take another sip of his disgusting coffee. He needed the caffeine, no matter how bad it tasted. “Nichts, bis ich bin draußen.” Beau eyed her silly look tentatively. He didn’t return the grin, although his smirk grew more pronounced. Was she a child, or something? He couldn’t help but think in his arrogant head.
“Good, thank you. You speak German? It is a bit hard to understand some words, but you speak it well.”
“Nothing until I am standing out there.”

[[...is he human?]]
- She continued in the German. the language was much harder to pronounce than expected, this is a level 4 planet, she was supposed to be here anyways. but why do they make things so complicated for themselves, don't they know there is a much more easier way.
- She Brought out her card, to any one registered, on this planets system, they should be able to see the card easy, it should pop up in a what they might call here "holographic" state.
Mental note:She thought to herself.Do more research on that She brought out the little card and set it on the table next to her, in between them. Können Sie es sehen?[[can you see it?]]. She knew she was taking a risk, bring out her card, so open, for any one with a registered card would be able to see it. but she looked at him. she looked into his eyes, and for a brief moment she thought they met...
- her shield faltered.
- She was exposed for a moment of time, her real looks staying for a brief second. did he catch it? is she safe?

Beau’s eyes stayed plastered on the paper ahead of them. It’d been a small page spread of Miss ‘Ville- immediately, it caught his eye. It was a woman, decked out in a skimpy bathing suit, advertising the local festivities. He made a mental note to check the festivities out- maybe Miss ‘Ville herself would be there. Eyeing the girl as she dug about for something. He wondered what she was doing. He grabbed the paper and scanned the pages for more of the Miss Ville photos. There just had to be more- he wanted more. Suddenly, a sharp rap of plastic against the counter peaked his attention.
“What is that?” He asked, looking at the card with a scrutinizing eye. He didn’t know whether it was his eyes playing tricks on him or the card, but it appeared almost three dimensional. The card seemed to pop out towards him. “What do I see?” He asked, lifting up a hand to pick the card up and inspect it closer. A flicker of something caught his eye. Turning hastily to the girl, his eyebrows raised with shock. Did she just disappear? Beau could have sworn something ugly had replaced her for a moment, but she was back in the seat, like before.

[[Oh Shit...]]
- Oh crap, she looked down and checked herself over. what had just happened? her cover flipped. she looked at him, his eyebrows raised. he must have seen... but, he did not respond, or act. could he have thought it was his mind? she hoped so.
- "nothing". She replied when he asked. She snatched the card away form him and shoved it back into her bag. he couldn't see it...this upset her, because he looked interested, but all he should've seen was a flat, blank card. which was odd, but he did not recognize it, or pull out one of his own. That's life, right maria? has that not what you've been told? you are different, you are gross. Your weird.
- She stared at him, long lashes, with uncannily large black eyes looked at him, intent, strange, and large. she blinked a couple of times, and with an awkward smile she attempted to make conversation, her mouth opening, and shutting, no noise coming out.
[[what now..?]]

Beau quickly grabbed at the coffee ahead, downing a large sip no matter how disgusting it had tasted. It was the caffeine, he blamed, for giving him this aweful hallucination. He didn't know quite what he saw, or whatever his brain had conjured, but it had actually scared him. He was slightly jittery now- Beau's hands trembling slightly and he was on edge. His limp hand had still clutched the card, and in a swift move, it was snatched from his grip and carefully tucked away into her purse. Beau stared wide-eyed at her, almost as though he were expecting her to switch from human into an ugly, scary form once more.
He watched her as she remained silent, Beau even attempting to speak several times before quickly snapping his mouth shut and thinking the better of it. He stared into her lash-rimmed eyes before finally speaking to her, his voice slightly uncertain of himself, for once. "Also ... Gibt es etwas, das sie in Kaffee hier? Ich glaube, ich bin angefangen zu halluzinieren oder etwas, was mich verrückt oder eine Scheiße hier. Man, sie brauchen einen deutschen Kaffee hier, vielleicht dann Amerikaner können sich einen Gedanken von dem, was echte Kaffee schmeckt wie." He said, attempting to bring a bit of a lighter note to their conversation. "Also, darauf zu gehen für einen Spaziergang oder etwas? Das mag dieses Cafeteria ist nicht zu bis zu Standards für mich. Vielleicht gehen Sie für ein Eis im Park? Ich habe noch versucht, eine solche." He offered, shrugging as a light pinkish tint came to his porcelain, smooth cheeks.
"So... is there something they put in coffee here? I think I'm starting to hallucinate or something, making me go crazy or some shit here. Man, they need a German coffee place here, maybe then Americans can get a thought of what real coffee tastes like." "So, care to go for a walk or something? The likes of this coffee shop isn't too up to standards for myself. Maybe go for an ice-cream in the park? I've yet to attempt one of those."
